Module 3:  Generator Advanced Controller Programming (3 Days)

Introduction

Due to the amount of topics covered in Module 2, only basic controller applications programming is covered. On demand of the participants whom attended Module 2, this course has being developed to provide in depth advanced controller programming related to Deep Sea and Lovato controllers. This programming knowledge can also successfully be applied to other brands of generator controllers.  Module 3 can only be attended once Module 2 has been completed at Diesel Innovations Training Academy.

COURSE PROGRAM

DAY 1 – 3

  • Controller type selection for different emergency generator control philosophies:
    • ATS Controllers
    • AMF Controllers
    • Remote Start Controllers
    • Synchronization Controllers
  • Study of the controller settings
  • Controller programming for logic control scenario’s
  • Practical programming and faultfinding on generator simulator
  • Practical programming and faultfinding on generator pant

Dio has also been responsible for the feasibility studies, design, specifications, tender adjudication and quality and cost control for several 88kV and 132kV substation and transmission line projects.
