About Chris
Chris is a Business Entrepreneur and Technologist with 30 years experience in Process Control, Electrical Engineering and Emergency Generators. Chris obtained his Master Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Vaal University of Technology in 1990. At the University of Potchefstroom he completed his Masters in Business Administration in 2004. His entrepreneurial business and engineering experience combined with his academical background provides him with exceptional strategic management skills, strong negotiation skills and specialized electrical engineering skills.
Chris’s passion for training started through part-time lecturing at the Vaal University of Technology. Based on his 20 years experience in the generator industry, he developed specialized courses related to emergency diesel generators.

About Raynard
Raynard successfully designed, installed and commissioned some of the most sophisticated configured emergency generator installations in South Africa over the past 10 years. His in-depth understanding of all the components of an emergency generator set combined with his practical exposure makes Raynard one of the best facilitators in South Africa.
Over the past 3 years Raynard has been the facilitator to over 400 participants who successfully completed various courses related to electrical engineering and emergency diesel generator sets.
Raynard, a Certified Electrician and Facilitator is the Head of Training at Diesel Innovations Training Academy.

About Dio
Dio du Toit obtained a BSc in Electrical Engineering and commenced his career with the then Pretoria City Council in the Primary Planning Department. He later joined Plantech Associates, Electrical and Mechanical Consulting Engineers, where he remained as a Partner until 1998.
In 1999 Dio established his own Electrical Engineering Consulting firm. Dio joined Africon in 2005, and was appointed as a Technical Director in the Energy and Industrial Processing Unit in 2006.
During the course of his career, Dio has been responsible for electrical engineering aspects pertaining to building services for commercial, military and institutional buildings, which included building reticulation, site reticulation, street lighting, perimeter security lighting, access control systems, fire detection systems, as well as runway lighting and control.
Dio has also been responsible for the feasibility studies, design, specifications, tender adjudication and quality and cost control for several 88kV and 132kV substation and transmission line projects.
Dio has been involved as lead engineer on several major large projects such as new mining projects, a railway and a new harbour in Mozambique.
Being a Consulting Engineer for the past 33 years and gaining vast experience in a wide spectrum of projects, Dio is now part of Diesel Innovations Training Academy and will apply his knowledge in providing LV, MV and HV specialized training.
